Private client – Utrecht
Adaptive lighting was required for a house in Utrecht, in a space where the living room, kitchen and bedroom are closely connected by a vide. Because the room has so many functions, and the lighting is seen from all places, it is all the more important that the light can be adjusted completely to the customers wishes. Both in color and intensity. And although Contour has many expressive forms, an installation of pure straight lines is a wonderful statement.
The fixtures are very slim and contain no unnecessary details. It is purely about the light lines. By choosing straight lines only, the height of the space is emphasized. Some fixtures hang with the light directed towards the wall, and others have the light directed towards the viewer. A play of direct and indirect light. Aptum also took care of the ceiling solution, and installed everything on location.
