Orchids Info and Aptum present to you ‘In Full Bloom’.
Orchids Info and Aptum met at Salone del Mobile in Milan, Masterly 2024. They discovered a shared passion for vibrant, bright colors and expressive patterns and shapes.
What they both admired in their own fields, they also recognized in each other’s expertise. This mutual fascination led to a natural collaboration, in which flora and light seamlessly merge in a unique way. The result is an impressive floral wall filled with illuminated geometric shapes and sculptural light objects that incorporate orchids.
In 2024, during Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven, this collaborative creation was unveiled.
‘In Full Bloom’ highlights the versatility of orchids – one of the largest and most diverse plant families in the world. They bloom elegantly for weeks, year after year, serving as a constant source of inspiration.
The design is, of course, suitable for various types of plants and plant combinations. For certain projects, using artificial plants might even be more practical.
‘In Full Bloom’ is part of the Contour lighting system designed by Aptum. This flexible system offers countless possibilities in applications and forms. The combination of light lines and planters can be executed in endless ways, such as tall, freestanding versions, stacked planters with integrated light lines, or designs that are either modular or fixed.
