Lande, an established brand in the furniture industry, and Aptum share a common philosophy: designs that adapt to the space and the needs of the user. Like Aptum, Lande operates with a high level of flexibility and manufactures in its own factory. This mutual craftsmanship and shared vision of customization brought us together for a collaboration.
For their new table series, NODE, Lande looked for a partner who could seamlessly integrate lighting and electrification into the design. Power outlets, USB charging points, and lighting needed to be not only functional but also perfectly aligned with the aesthetics and modularity of their furniture line. A crucial requirement was a flexible and reliable partner who could transform this vision into a technical and functional design—one that offers customization, accommodates both small and large production runs, and maintains clear and efficient communication.
During design sessions, we explored how lighting and electrification could be seamlessly integrated into the NODE series. This resulted in a range of designs where form and function merge: beautifully integrated solutions that enhance both the usability and appearance of the furniture. Through discussions and refinements, we perfected the prototypes into meticulously developed production models.
Both Lande’s tables and Aptum’s lighting are entirely made-to-order and customized. The tables are produced in Lande’s factory, while the lighting and electrification are produced in Aptum’s workshop.
Clients can choose from various shapes, materials, sizes, colours and finishes, ensuring that each version is unique and seamlessly fits its environment.
